Tellus Vinea Bordeaux 2022

An expressive Bordeaux from the historic vineyards of Château Belregard-Figeac, stewarded by the Pueyo family in the heart of the Libournais. The Pueyos have tended vines here since the mid-19th century and now farm organically under the fifth-generation leadership of Christophe Pueyo.

This bottling is Merlot with a splash of Cabernet Franc. The fruit is harvested from sites that border the Lalande-de-Pomerol and the wine is fermented and aged in stainless steel and cement. Expect juicy black fruit, hints of dried herbs, and subtle earth tones, backed by fine tannins and lively acidity. This is fresh and medium-bodied yet generous, to pair with roasted chicken or duck, grilled pork chops, steak frites, mushroom dishes, lentil stew and beef bourguignon.
