Lyrarakis Crete Assyrtiko Voila 2024

The Lyrarakis winery is located in Heraklion, Crete, and is one of the oldest on the island. The Lyraraki family started working in the wine sector in 1966 and since then they have managed to save several local varieties such as Dafni, Melissaki, and Plyto. Thus Voila comes from Assyrtiko that grows in a dry vineyard in the plain of the same name "Voila", at an altitude of 580 meters. 

The aromas are mixed between those of lemons, peach and evening primrose, with soft notes of ginger and white pepper.

Rich body, with an acidity that cannot go unnoticed and comes in perfect balance with mineral elements and aromas of white flowers. White-fleshed peach, lemon, lime, lemon, and grapefruit oils in a long and refreshing aftertaste, dominated by an elegant minerality.
