Steigler Kékfrankos 2021

Sopron is a cool climate region near the border with Austria, and these two historically intertwined nations share the Kékfrankos grape also known as Blaufränkisch. This medium-bodied dry red is aged in a combination of 75% stainless steel, and 25% 500L new Hungarian oak barrels. Black forest fruits, brush, and spice aromas combine with medium structure and good acidity. Pair with goose in brandy sauce, and quince and cabbage dumplings.
