Rose Hill Kitchen Sink 375 ml
This pétillant naturel cider is the flagship release from Rose Hill Farm, a historic Hudson Valley orchard in Red Hook, New York, whose roots stretch back to 1798. Today the farm’s cider program focuses on low-intervention fermentation and holistic orchard practices.
The blend draws on a long list of heirloom, bittersweet, and culinary apples, including Ashmead’s Kernel, Baldwin, Calville Blanc, Esopus Spitzenburg, Golden Russet, and Northern Spy. Mature fruit is macerated for 24 hours before pressing, then wild fermented and bottled before fermentation finishes, raw, unfined, and unfiltered.
Expect a dry, yeasty, gently fizzy cider with bright notes of grapefruit, starfruit, and lemon curd, plus a green herbal edge. Serve chilled in a wine glass for an easy, sneakily complex introduction to natural cider.
