La Kiuva Rouge de Vallée 2023

La Kiuva is a growers’ cooperative in Italy’s Alpine Valle d’Aosta, where steep, high-altitude vineyards and stony, sandy soils give Nebbiolo (locally called Picotendro) a leaner, more lifted expression. Blended with small amounts of native grapes like Gros Vien, Neyret, Cornalin, and Fumin, the Rouge de Vallée is bright and aromatic, with red cherry and crunchy cranberry notes accented by mountain herbs and spice. Medium-bodied and finely textured, with lively acidity and a subtle earthy edge, it’s a graceful, approachable snapshot of Valle d’Aosta’s singular alpine terroir.
