David Trousselle is a tiny producer in the Hautes Cotes de Beaune, that only produces single-vineyard Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. His vineyards are extremely well located, nestled in a valley between St Aubin and St Romain.
100% Chardonnay from clay-limestone soils. The wine is aged for 10 months in 20% new oak. Earth, mineral, spice and crunchy apple. Medium-to-full-bodied. Utterly delicious. Practicing organic.
