Domaine Brusset Les Travers Cairanne 2024

First established in 1947, Domaine Brusset is now being run by the family’s third generation in Cairanne, the heart of the Southern Rhone. The Les Travers Cairanne Cotes du Rhone Villages is a hand harvested blend of Syrah, Mourvedre, Grenache, and Cinsault. The grapes are destemmed and fermented in large vats before aging in a older barrels of various sizes.

Aromas of ripe blackberry and black cherry lead to a rich palate of similar fruit that’s been spiced with black pepper, cedar, and garrigue. The concentrated flavor is emphasised by firm but lush tannins, a lengthy finish, and refreshing acidity. It’s an easy-drinking wine that offers great versatility, perfect for pairing with grilled meats, Mediterranean dishes, or a simple pizza. A fantastic example of the Rhône’s charm, showcasing depth and freshness in every sip.
