Fratelli Antonio & Raimondo Barbera 2023

This wine comes from Bussia, a sub-region of Monforte d’Albe in the heart of Barolo. Bussia is one of Piedmont’s grand crus, and is situated in the northern part of Monforte d’Alba. This is quite likeable and enticing with mixed dark berries, black plum, smoke, with touches of violet and black pepper. The medium-bodied palate boasts plum and blueberry flavors supported by denser flavors of herbs, pepper, amaro spice and dark soil. This wine is juicy, tasty, with soft, dusty tannins and old world charm.
