Oddero Barbera d' Alba Superiore 2022

Bold and complex Barbera from vineyards in La Morra and Castiglione Falletto. It ferments in stainless steel and ages 16 months in large French oak casks. It's juicy, vibrant and bodied, with a core of dark berry and black cherry fruit layered with hints of violets, crushed stone, black pepper, and sweet tobacco. There is fresh acidity, supple tannins and a touch of earth and savory spice on the long, lifted finish. Enjoy it with grilled Italian sausage, pork tenderloin or mushroom lasagna.
