Bisson Glera 2023

100% Glera from Italy's Veneto, the only thing stopping this bottling from being a Prosecco is the winemaker's, Pierluigi Lugano, aesthetic choice to enclose the bottle with a pop-top rather than the traditional cage and cork. Labeled prosecco or not, this is a chiseled and bright sparkling that is far more mineral driven than other prosecco's on the market. And 1/4 of the dosage too! Snappy green apple and a touch of white floral, tight bubbles, and bright acidity. No need for celebration but an awesome and affordable option. We think this more of a franciacorte than a prosecco.
