Domaine Marquis d'Angerville Meursault-Santenots Premier Cru 2023

Domaine Marquis d'Angerville has a beautiful plot of 1.05 hectares planted with Chardonnay since 1905, originally by Sem d'Angerville, who wanted to vinify a white premier cru. This Meursault expresses minerality above all else. From an exceptional terroir, Les Santenots, situated on the southerly border of Volnay, just beside Meursault, the wine gives an exceptionally apple pear bouquet with under currents of hazelnuts. Made without excessive battonage to give extra energy and tension. Its gorgeous fleshy texture does not reveal itself immediately, but slowly as you savor. A wine in its youth now, that can easily provide pleasure after years in the cellar.
