Famille Brunier Le Pigeoulet Vaucluse 2023
'Le Pigeoulet' Vaucluse 2023 is a blend of Grenache, Syrah, Carignan, Cinsault, and Mourvèdre made by the producer of the iconic Vieux Télégraphe in Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Fermentation is done in cement tanks, then aged for 18 months, with 50% of the wine maturing in cement and the remaining 50% in large oak foudres. This balanced approach to aging adds structure and complexity while preserving freshness. The result is a wine with rich red and black fruit flavors and a core of stony minerality. Hints of earth, black olive, savory herbs and garrigue complement the bright, velvety texture.
