Marquis d'Angerville Meursault 1er Cru Santenots 2024

Guillaume d'Angerville farms more than a hectare of white grapes in Santenots, originally planted with Chardonnay by his grandfather in 1905. 

More colour, with slight reduction on the nose that blows off. Cleaner on the palate though there is a residue at the finish. There is a good weight of yellow orchard fruit, crisp pear, subtle smoke, and grilled hazelnuts and a fine acid balance.
