Closerie du Pelan Rouge 2015

An esteemed neighbor of C. Le Puy, which plays an integral part in the winery these days, this is old school natural Bordeaux. A dry red blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Petit Verdot, this herbaceous library release was aged at the winery itself. An outlier in a sea of similar wines, this rustic and ethereal red is a true standout. Pair with lamb shanks braised in pomegranate sauce.
