For five generations, the Chevillon family has cultivated vines in Nuits-Saint-Georges, and today brothers Bertrand and Denis carry the estate forward with the same hands-on dedication that built its reputation. They work their parcels themselves, favoring restrained cellar techniques that let each climat speak clearly, and the domaine is widely regarded as one of the appellation's benchmark producers, offering a genuine tour of Nuits-Saint-Georges terroir through its lineup of premiers crus. Les Roncières, farmed on the southern, east-southeast-facing slopes of the appellation, is prized for the precision and minerality it brings to the glass.

The 2022 vintage pours a deep, vibrant hue and opens with a lively bouquet of black cherry and dark plum, layered with notes of violet, peony and a subtle savory, iodine-like nuance. On the palate it is finely structured, with silky, refined tannins and a caressing texture that carries through to a long, stony finish marked by pronounced minerality. Despite a June hailstorm in the vineyard, the wine shows remarkable depth and poise, built for extended aging.
