Le Puy Duc des Nauves 2024

Le Puy's second label, from a nine-hectare vineyard the Amoreau family added to the estate in 2006 and has farmed biodynamically ever since — Duc des Nauves has been certified since the 2015 vintage.

Château Le Puy itself sits on the same limestone plateau as Saint-Émilion and Pomerol, and this vineyard shares that astéries limestone bedrock, just slightly lower and sandier. Farming follows Le Puy's house rules: no synthetic treatments, hand harvest, native yeast, no added sulfur.

70% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, fermented in cement and bottled unfiltered after a year. Black fruit, plum, and cherry, with fine tannins and good freshness for the price point.
