El Espino Bodegas Aster 2021

Áster El Espino 2021 is a fresh, elegant, and contemporary red wine produced by Bodegas Áster (part of the prestigious La Rioja Alta group) in the D.O. Ribera del Duero region of Spain. It originates from low-yielding vineyards with sandy soils in Anguix (Burgos), which gives it a distinct fluid and delicate character compared to traditional, heavier Ribera del Duero wines.

Fresh blackberries, strawberries, blueberries, and black pepper with cocoa powder and fine spices. Perfumed and fruit-expressive yet deep. Very soft-spoken oak here. Really juicy and precise on the palate with fine, chalky tannins. Shows tension and length.
