Finca El Otero Bodegas Aster 2021

The Bodegas Áster Finca El Otero 2021 is a premium, single-vineyard 100% Tempranillo (Tinta del País) from the Ribera del Duero region of Spain. Crafted by the esteemed La Rioja Alta estate, this wine is sourced from 70+ year-old vines at 800+ meters elevation and aged in new French oak for 16 months.

Plum and balsamic notes open on the nose, joined by forest floor, a touch of lavender, black fruit and bay leaf. The palate offers good body, richness and volume, with oak supporting the black fruit on the finish. Fine-grained tannins are active and a little juicy.
