Land of Saints 'SLO Coast' Cabernet Sauvignon 2024
Land of Saints borrows its name from Cornwall's old nickname, which co-founder Jason Osborne brought to California when he and wife Angela, also behind A Tribute to Grace, teamed up with Manuel Cuevas of C2 Cellars in 2013 to build a project on native yeast fermentation and minimal intervention. This Cabernet comes from Rancho Arroyo Grande, a dry-farmed, own-rooted vineyard planted in 1990 within the SLO Coast AVA, the cool, ocean-influenced stretch of San Luis Obispo County recognized in 2022. Fully destemmed and aged ten months in neutral barrique, it shows dark cassis and black cherry fruit, a savory herbal edge, and fine, fresh tannins with no oak spice to get in the way. 750ml | San Luis Obispo Coast, California, USA
