Le Kid d'Arsac Margaux 2022

This Margaux red is the second wine of Château d’Arsac, one of the oldest estates in the Médoc. When Philippe Raoux bought it in 1986, it was in ruins. He brought it back to life, won back its Margaux status, and filled it with a celebrated collection of contemporary art. Today the estate is a Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel.

Introduced with the 2018 vintage, the Kid is the château’s more playful, approachable Margaux. The 2022 is a Merlot-led blend with 20% Cabernet Sauvignon. It’s an intense garnet with purple hints, and the nose shows blackcurrant, red berries, and a touch of pastry cream. The palate is full and juicy, with dense but polished tannins and a lively finish.
