Linc's Amber 2024
This amber wine comes from Linc’s Winery, a micro winery in Elizaville, in New York’s Hudson River Region. Linc Duffy made wine on his own terms for more than a decade before founding the winery in 2022, the same spring he planted his first vines.
It’s made mostly from Ravat 51, also known as Vignoles, along with some Seyval Blanc. Both are cold-hardy French hybrid grapes that do well in the Hudson Valley. The white grapes get time on their skins, which gives the wine its amber color and a gentle texture. Expect citrus, pear and green apple, with a smooth, earthy finish.
It’s a fun, food-friendly bottle that’s great with roast chicken, mushroom dishes or a board of local cheeses.
