Milenrama Rioja Blanco 2025

Milenrama is the winemaking project of sisters Ruth and Ana de Andrés, whose fresh, vibrant wines have quickly earned a reputation as some of Rioja's best everyday values. They source fruit from thirty-year-old bush vines scattered across the rolling foothills of the Sierra de Yerga in Rioja Oriental, where gravelly clay-limestone soils and altitudes of 300–500 meters preserve natural acidity even through warm Mediterranean summers. Farming is hands-on and unhurried, with fruit hand-harvested and vinified using a clean, modern, minimal-intervention style that lets the sisters' terroir speak for itself.

A blend led by Viura with a touch of Tempranillo Blanco, this wine pours a pale, bright straw-yellow. The nose opens with intense aromas of passionfruit and pineapple, layered with citrus and delicate herbal notes. On the palate, stone fruit and white-fleshed pear and apple carry through to a soft, silky texture, finishing on a fine, floral, refreshing note. Fermented entirely in temperature-controlled stainless steel, it retains a crisp, lively character true to its vineyard site.
