This fascinating bottling translates to “noble blend” and has been used in Alsace since the 1600s. It combines 40% Pinot Gris, 25% Riesling, 20% Pinot Blanc, 10% Sylvaner and 5% Gewürztraminer into a complex expression of freshness and fun. Light pink-orange in the glass, it pops on the nose with melon, pluot, blood orange and wet rock aromas. Dancing across the palate with a crisp acidity and taut minerality, it offers tart red fruit and zesty citrus.
